Class Descriptions

Kids Class—Accordion Book   (Sue)
The kids will learn how to make this great fold-out album from cardstock, patterned paper, embellishments and pictures.  Makes a great gift.  BYOB
Fee:	$20.00 + GST 2 hour Kids class No children under 12

Kids Class—Stamping & Colouring  (Sue)
he kids will learn basic stamping techniques and we’ll colour the stamped images with markers and/or watercolour pencils
Fee:	$15.00 + GST 2 hour Kids class

Kids Class—Paper Tearing  (Sue)
The kids will learn how to tear paper to make animals and other shapes to compliment their scrapbook pages.
Fee:	$15.00 + GST 2 hour Kids class

Beginner Scrapbooking Class for Kids Ages 8—12  (Sue)
Kids will be kids, and sometimes they don’t like to listen to their parents.  Even when it’s something as enjoyable as scrapbooking, they just don’t listen.  Send them to us and we will introduce them to scrapbooking in a casual atmosphere that they will respond to.  Send copies of 3-5 photos of the same theme.
Fee:	$10.00 + GST 1 1/2 hour Kids class

Creative Beginnings  (Beginner Class)  (Sue)
his is an introduction to scrapbooking that will acquaint you with scrapbooking terminology and familiarize you with some of the tools, albums, papers, adhesives and other basics.  Please bring 6 to 8 photos of the same theme.  Note:  Tools can be purchased the night of the class with a 10% discount.

Discover Doodling  (Christine)
o you like the look of doodling, but you’re leery about trying it?  Christine loves to doodle on her pages and cards and will show you stress-free ways it can be done.  Bring your basic tool kit and any acid free pens/markers you  have.
Fee:	$25.00 + GST 2 hour Adult class

3D Christmas Layout  (Laurie)
sing Bo Bunny patterned papers, create unique 3D origami trees, to accent a double page layout.  Bring basic tool kit.

Peel Off Stickers with Dimension and Glitter  (Laurie)
Do you love the Peel Off stickers?  Come out and learn new techniques using them.  You will learn how to add glitter and we will be doing 3D designs.  Three cards will be completed.

Tools and Embellishments  (Sue)
re you new to scrapbooking?  Do you still feel overwhelmed when you come into a store?  We can help.  We’ll show you how to use the tools and embellishments that you see and answer any questions you may have.  As an added bonus, purchase $50 or more of product and/or tools that evening and you won’t be charged the class fee.

Stamp Up Your Pages  (Laurie)
tamps don’t have to be used just for cards.  Laurie will show you how you can use them to make beautiful themed layouts for your scrapbooks.  Sample of the layout is on display in the store.  Start planning your layout now by taking some outdoor snow pictures.  Bring your basic tool kit, a watercolour brush and your pictures.

‘My Grandparents’ Book (Sue)
reate a wonderful tribute to the people who put ‘grand’ in grandparent with this beautiful 6x6 board book.  Bring your basic tool kit.  Only 4 spots in this class.

Pearlex Techniques  (Laurie)
Join us as we play with Pearlex powders,  learn how to create luminous cards, make your own glitter spray and paint with Pearlex.  We’ll create 3 dazzling cards.  Bring your basic tool kit and a water colour brush..

Liquid Pearls Techniques  (Laurie)
Learn how to use Liquid Pearls to add dimension to your paper projects.  We’ll also use Liquid Pearls to create your own custom paint palette.   Bring basic tool kit and a water colour brush or blender pen.

‘Love’ Word Album  (Sue)
The new Bo Bunny word album ‘Love’ is the focus in this class.  Using their Smitten line of papers and other embellishments, you’ll put together a unique book to give to someone special.  Bring your basic tool kit.  Only 4 spots in this class.

Project of the Month  (Christine)
We’ll have a different project every month using different tools and techniques.  A nice evening out for you to relax and enjoy working with paper.  Bring basic tool kit.

Favourite Recipes Book (Christine)
Fill this book with favourite recipes and give to someone special.  This is a great book to give to a child who is going away to school or to a bride-to-be.  Or you might just like it so much, you’ll want to keep it for yourself!  Bring your basic tool kit.

Brayering Techniques for Valentine’s  (Laurie)
Create 3 valentine’s cards using brayer resist, embossing and 3D with acetate.  Bring your basic tool kit and a brayer (available to purchase in store if you don’t have one).

Marker Madness  (Laurie)
Come and explore different uses for markers using acetate, glossy paper and stamps.  Bring basic tool kit and a water colour brush.

Winter Wonderland Board Book  (Sue)
Using the Jack Frost line of papers from Bo Bunny, create this pretty 6x6 board book ready for your winter pictures.  Bring your basic tool kit.  Only 4 spots in this class.

Watercolour Techniques with Glaze Sakura Pens & Peel Off Stickers  (Laurie)
Come out and learn how to use your Glaze pens and create a water colour blended look.  We will be creating 3 dif-ferent cards.  Bring basic tool kit and a watercolour brush

Let’s Colour Some More (Laurie)
For all of you watercolour lovers, come out and watercolour using embossed images.  We will be using watercolour markers and pencils.  Bring basic tool kit and a watercolour brush.

	All classes and crops MUST be paid in full before names will be put on the class list. If you are unable to pay in person, you may register by phone with a credit card.
	Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled class start time.
	If a class is full, you may ask to be put on a waiting list.
	Cancellations MUST be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled class, otherwise you will forfeit your class fee. If you are ill you may send someone in your place. Please call the store and let us know who is taking your place. No refunds will be issued. With 48 hours notice you will be issued a full store credit in the amount of your class.
	Sorry, we cannot make reminder calls for the classes.
	JC's Scrapbook Studio has the right to cancel any class or change the instructor if necessary. Any classes cancelled will be refunded or rescheduled.
